We have had a very busy summer at Club Olympus and the weather has been remarkable with temperatures in the late twenties and early thirties.

The sky has been gloriously blue and we have had that delightful cooling, gentle breeze that makes it bearable.

Pictured below is Gabby Rhodes, Head of the "Animation" or entertainment team, she is marking quiz answers to see who gets the free bottles of 'Bubbly' that are an everyday feature at the resort.

We are moving into the Autumn season and the weather is still fabulous, our clientele are a little older with not so many youngsters around but they know how to party!

Well, sort of????

Here below is me,  Ivan of Club Olympus with Uncle Don (Bar Manager Louise's Uncle) who had a great couple of weeks with us recently.

Uncle Don has been residing in New Zealand for decades but has been in Europe to see his family.

Now most people are taller than me but take a look at the photo below.

Pictured above are (left) Tony Rhodes of Club Olympus, Simon Shaw (centre), Man Mountain and Rugby Union player for Wasps, Toulon and England and then me. We met Simon at the Annual RDO (Resort Developers Association) Conference in London last week. A very pleasant guy he was too and now involved in the Timeshare business with Karma Resorts.

At the conference, Tony and I worked very hard as you can see below

Cheers and we look forward to seeing you down at the resort soon!

As reported a month or two ago, the tree phenomenon in Santa Cruz continues.

As I spend quite a bit of time in Tenerife's capital Santa Cruz, I am coming across this craze more and more.

The designs seem to be becoming more and more complicated and intricate. Somebody is taking this seriously!

And I still don't know why 'they' are doing it. However, Santa Cruz is a great city to visit.

Even if they can't spell their English too well!!
