In late January, Jean Faichney our Operations Director (pictured below) hosted a traditional Burns night at the Poolside Bar. This was to celebrate the life and works of Robert Burns, one of Scotland's most famous sons and was also a charity event.

The Master of Ceremonies for the spectacular event was our very own Iain Gardener of Glasgow (again pictured below). Iain, as well as being MC, contributed by 'Addressing the Haggis' and 'Poor Willy's prayer' in his inimitable style.

Songs and music were provided by Jean's daughter Marie-anne along with her extremely talented friends from the Tenerife Conservatoire. Also Iain's wife Jane presented the address to the 'Laddees' in reply to the 'Address to the Lasses'. Great fun!

It was a great night, enjoyed by all our guests and raised about 400 Euros for our favourite charity Krystel House.
